A solar inverter turns DC power from your battery bank and panels into the 120V or 120/240V AC your house, cabin or RV runs on. The hybrid units in this collection do more than convert: most include MPPT solar charging, a battery charger and an automatic transfer between grid, generator and battery, so one box replaces three.
The collection holds 56 pure sine wave inverters from EG4, Sol-Ark, Sungold Power, Rich Solar and BigBattery, from a 3,000W 12V inverter charger for from $799 up to the Sol-Ark 15K all-in-one for from $5,650. Most are 48V hybrids sized for whole-home backup or full off-grid living; a few 12V and 24V models cover vans, boats and small cabins.
| Product | Key numbers | Best for | Price from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rich Solar NOVA MAX 3K | 3,000W, 24V, 80A MPPT | RVs, boats, small cabins | $799 |
| Sungold Power 8,000W 48V Split Phase | 8,000W, 11,000W max PV, WiFi | Whole-home off-grid on a budget | $1,450 |
| EG4 6000XP | 6,000W, 120/240V, 8,000W PV, parallels to 16 | Modular systems that grow | $1,499 |
| Sol-Ark 12K Hybrid | 12,000W, 120/240/208V, 48V | Grid-interactive homes with large loads | $4,350 |
What is the difference between a hybrid and an off-grid inverter? A hybrid can export to or import from the grid and still run off-grid when it drops. An off-grid inverter never feeds the grid; it may accept grid or generator power only to charge the battery.
Do I need 240V? Only if you have 240V appliances. A cabin or RV on 120V is fine with the Rich Solar NOVA units; a full house almost always needs split-phase.
Can I mix an eg4 inverter with another brand's battery? Often yes, but closed-loop communication and warranty support are simplest with matched brands. Call us with your battery model before ordering.
All inverters ship free to the mainland US from brand partner warehouses, usually in a few business days, with 30-day returns. If you are torn between two models, phone us with your load list and we will work through it together.
