Cloudy regions and winter use push you toward the larger array.
• Battery bank. All three in-stock kits carry 5.12kWh of LiFePO4 storage, roughly two evenings of fridge, lights, pump and TV. The Rich Solar kits use two ALPHA 4 batteries; the Sungold kit's battery is Bluetooth-enabled for monitoring from a phone.
• Inverter output. Every in-stock kit here has a 3,000W inverter, enough for a microwave, a coffee maker or a 13,500 BTU RV air conditioner one at a time. The Sungold unit puts out 120V; the sold-out 6,000W kit was the 120/240V option for a cabin with a well pump.
