A Sungold Power kit bundles the three parts of a battery-based solar system, inverter, LiFePO4 storage and monocrystalline panels, into one order with components the manufacturer has already matched. That removes the usual sizing errors: a charge current too high for the battery, string voltage above the inverter limit, or a 120V inverter on a house that needs 240V. You still choose the size, and that is what this guide covers.
The collection holds 42 kits and related components. Off-grid kits start at $3,145 for a 5,000W system with 5.12kWh of battery and six 200W panels, and hybrid kits top out at $18,878 for a 22.8kW system with 51.2kWh of storage and thirty-six 450W panels. Every kit is 48V.
| Product | Key numbers | Best for | Price from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sungold Power 5,000W Off-Grid Kit SGM-5K5E | 5,000W, 5.12kWh, 6 x 200W, 120V | Weekend cabin, first system | $3,145 |
| Sungold Power 6,500W Off-Grid Kit SGM-655M | 6,500W, 5.12kWh, 6 x 370W | Shop or cabin with a few big tools | $3,978 |
| Sungold Power 7.6kW Hybrid Kit SGH-7.6N3E | 7.6kW, 15.36kWh, 12 x 500W, grid-tie | Grid-connected home wanting backup | $5,874 |
| Sungold Power 15.2kW Hybrid Kit SGH-7.6DN6E | 2 x 7.6kW, 30.72kWh, 32 x 415W | Large home, full-time solar | $12,483 |
Can I add batteries or panels to a Sungold Power kit later? The SGM-5K5E and SGM-5K10M are described as customizable with extra batteries and panels. The larger SGR and SGH kits already use paralleled inverters and multiple batteries, so the same expansion path applies.
Do the hybrid kits work during a grid outage? Yes. SGH kits are listed as supporting off-grid, hybrid and grid-tied configurations, so the battery carries the house when utility power is out.
Where can I read sungold power reviews before buying? Check the product page of the kit you are considering for customer reviews and manufacturer documentation, and read them for that size specifically, since a 5,000W cabin setup and a 15kW home system get used very differently.
All kits ship free to the mainland US from our brand partner warehouses, usually within a few business days, with 30-day returns. Call us with your load list and we will point you to the right series.
