How to choose a 5kW to 10kW inverter

• Continuous watts against your biggest overlap. Add the loads that run together, not everything you own. Is a 6,000W or 8,000W inverter enough for a whole house? For most homes running one heavy 240V load at a time, yes. If central air, an electric range and a dryer can overlap, step up to the APEX-10K or parallel two EG4 6000XP units.

Do these need a separate charge controller? No. Each hybrid here has MPPT charging built in; the NOVA 6548 carries dual 120A controllers, the NOVA 6K a single high-voltage 120A unit. You wire panels straight to the inverter.

What about the sold-out 24V Sungold 6,000W model? It is the only 24V unit in this range and it returns periodically. Everything currently in stock is 48V, which is the voltage we recommend at this power level anyway.
