The NOVA SUPERCHARGER 3K combines an inverter, a battery charger, and an automatic transfer switch into a single 12V unit. Plug into shore power at a marina or campground, run a generator when you're off-grid, or draw straight from the battery bank — the unit handles the switching itself, so the loads onboard never notice a change in source.
This is an AC-charging unit rather than a solar hybrid inverter: it doesn't include an MPPT solar charge controller, so it's built specifically around fast, high-current charging from shore power or a generator rather than solar input.
A built-in transfer switch means there's no separate box to wire in and no manual flip required when the power source changes. The NOVA SUPERCHARGER 3K detects when shore power or a generator is available and switches to it automatically in as little as 20 milliseconds — fast enough that most onboard electronics never register the transition.
Where many inverter/chargers top out at 50–80A, the NOVA SUPERCHARGER 3K supports up to 150A of charging current, selectable in 5A increments to match the battery bank being charged. That headroom means less time waiting between trips or outages for a large 12V bank to top back up — and it's compatible with deep-cycle, AGM, and LiFePO4 batteries with a BMS, so it fits into most existing 12V systems without a battery swap.
A 3000W continuous rating with 6000W of surge capacity for five seconds covers the startup draw of compressors and motors that spike well above their running wattage. With total harmonic distortion under 5%, the output is clean enough for laptops, navigation electronics, and other equipment that's sensitive to waveform quality — not just the appliances that tolerate rougher power.
