The NOVA MAX 3K rolls an inverter, an MPPT solar charge controller, and a multi-stage battery charger into a single 24V unit, so a solar-plus-battery system can be wired up without a separate charge controller taking up space. It accepts solar, battery, utility, and generator input, and manages the mix between them automatically based on whichever charging and load priority mode fits the system.
The onboard MPPT charge controller handles a 90–230VDC operating window with a 250V open-circuit ceiling, giving installers real flexibility in how a 24V solar array gets strung together. A 22A max input current and an 80V ±5V startup threshold round out the front end, so the inverter starts pulling in solar power early and keeps tracking efficiently as conditions change through the day.
Bulk charging runs at 29.2VDC for flooded batteries and 28.8VDC for AGM or gel, tapering to a 27.6VDC float stage once the battery is topped off — with overcharge protection engaging at 33VDC as a hard ceiling. That kind of chemistry-aware charging profile helps get a full charge without cooking the battery bank over time.
