EcoFlow 2000: DELTA Max and DELTA 2 Max Stations in the 2kWh Class

When people search for an EcoFlow 2000, they usually mean the DELTA Max and DELTA 2 Max: stations with about 2,000Wh of battery and 2,400W of AC output. That combination is the sweet spot for a weekend camper, a job site without hookups, or a home that needs the fridge and the internet kept alive through an outage. Add panels and the same box becomes a 2000 watt solar system that refills itself during the day.

How to choose a 2000 watt solar kit

• Which station. The DELTA Max carries 2,016Wh and accepts up to 800W of solar. The DELTA 2 Max carries 2,048Wh, accepts up to 1,000W of solar, uses an LFP battery rated for 3,000 cycles to 80% capacity, and runs on a 48V internal system. Both deliver 2,400W of continuous AC.
• How much panel. The DELTA Max bundles come with 200W of portable panel, 200 to 800W of rigid panel, 2 x 200W rigid, or a full 800W rigid array. On a clear day 800W puts back most of a 2,016Wh battery; 200W is a top-up, not a refill.
• Rigid or portable. Rigid panels suit a cabin roof, a shed or an RV that stays put. The 200W portable bundle folds into the trunk for weekend trips.
• Extra storage. The 2 x 200W rigid kit is listed with 3,600Wh of capacity, which points to an extra battery in the bundle. If you need more than one night of fridge and lights, that is the configuration to watch.
• Output limits. 2,400W runs a microwave, a coffee maker or a circular saw one at a time. It does not run a central AC or an electric range.

• Do not exceed the solar input ceiling. 800W on the DELTA Max and 1,000W on the DELTA 2 Max are hard limits; extra panels beyond that are wasted.
• A typical fridge draws 1 to 1.5kWh a day. That leaves roughly 500Wh for lights, phones and a laptop before a 2,000Wh station is empty, so add panels if you want a second day.

Is an ecoflow 2000 watt station enough for home backup? For essentials, yes. A fridge, router, lights and phone charging fit inside 2,400W and last through a night on 2,016 to 2,048Wh. For a sump pump or a space heater you will want a larger DELTA Pro class unit.
