I originally chose sungoldpower for my solar on my house because they were the only online retailer that promptly answered my emailed questions. I have 2 systems on my house, my first is a 5 kw 120 volt sungoldpower inverter powered by 27 200 watt panels configured in a series parallel setup (3 strings of 9 combined using blocking diode) feeding my inverter with 15 amps at 360 volts, averaging 300+ volts under load. I had some issues, but sungoldpower's sales and tech team worked with me and I added the blocking diodes and have had no further issues. Being employed as an electrician and repair technician, good support is essential for any product and sungoldpower definitely has that.

I bought an SGM-5K5E solar kit and installed it in my RV. It has been running perfectly for half a year. Especially after I recently added an extra battery, the kit allows me to run more appliances simultaneously.

I'm an electro-mechanical engineer but new to solar. I am very impressed. Took a little while to figure out how it's set up (wish it had better instructions) but looking back it's a pretty straight forward plug and play set up, just a little confusing. I'm running 1/3 of my house on it. After 3 days, it looked like it took an hr of sun to fully charge the battery. We have been running 3 lamps, 2 fans, a TV, and fence charger almost nonstop and the battery hasn't moved. Through the day it just runs straight from the panels if the battery is charged. I did try to plug in a 1500w heater tonight and it was draining the battery kinda quick but, general use was perfectly fine. Lord willing I will be ordering 2 more kits next year. Pretty good customer service, my only complaint is no phone number to call but that's pretty common these days. Overall I'll say it's well worth the money, quality exceeded my expectation and the price is unbeatable from my research.
