The Sungold Power PowerMax 314 Outdoor stores 16.07kWh of energy in a single weather-resistant cabinet, so a home can bank daytime solar for evenings, outages and peak-rate hours without dedicating indoor wall space. The IP65 enclosure with natural cooling mounts on a pad beside the house or in the garage, and operates from 14°F to 131°F.
Inside, 314Ah of LiFePO4 cells deliver 7.68kW of rated DC power with 150A standard and 190A maximum charge/discharge current. The built-in BMS monitors state of charge, current and temperature and protects against overcharge, over-discharge and overheating, while a front touch screen and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth app show everything in real time. The battery is UL1973 and UL9540A certified and CEC listed - the certifications utilities and inspectors ask for.
CAN/RS485 communication makes the PowerMax compatible with SunGoldPower, Sol-Ark, Victron, Growatt, EG4, Schneider, Luxpower, Deye, MPP Solar, Megarevo and other inverters. With the Sungold SGS-12K18MAX hybrid inverter it forms a UL 9540 certified system. Up to 16 units connect in parallel for 257kWh, backed by a 10-year warranty and a 15-year design life.
