I purchased the Sun Gold 10kw solar kit which included the 10kw hybrid inverter, 12- 550w mono perc panels and 4- 48v 100ah batteries in November of 2024 after much deliberation on whether to have the local utility company put electricity on our property or take our chances with an off grid solar option. I am extremely happy that we chose to go with Sun Gold Power solar! Installation was fairly simple for a carpenter/handyman like myself and in the area we live sunshine is abundant much of the year. This Sun Gold Power system has been amazing! I got it online while building our off grid home in May of 2026 and it has worked flawlessly ever since. Even during storms when our area experiences power outages we are comfortable and unaffected as our system just keeps running along. We added on more battery for a total of 5 and also tied in an inverter generator for those winter days when the sun is hidden by cloud. Here are some pictures of our setup!

I got the 110/220 volt inverter, 12 550 watt panels and the 5 of the self heating batteries for my offgrid property in eastern Washington. I did the all the setup minus the panels by myself. And that took 2 weeks in 90 degree weather. My friend assisted with the panels and it took 30 minutes to mount all 12. Because of my lay out, I was short on 2 of the pvi cables. I called down and Andrew is getting me taken care of. I am 1 step away from being off of my generator. At this point I am 100% satisfied. For 2 years I researched solar and solar power companies. I even had a solar company come out and quoted me $45k for basically the same setup with them installing it. Though Sungold, I paid $12,300.00.

I was really concerned about shipping. However when it arrived was impressed, more so when unpacked, great job guys. Delivery times are long, but knew this in advance from other reviews. Waiting couple weeks to save 8-10k on other systems, No Prob.
After installing, I watched couple videos from sungolds youtube, set the inverter settings and was done.
I had no issues, working great, used H&R block online, got my 3500 credit issued as refund. It was easier to get then I had researched online.
Now my off-grid woodshop has full power, even ran elec heat this winter just see how it would work.
Never ran solar before, I'm so pleased with this system going to buy another system, maybe two and build house and 4 season greenhouse on this end of my property..
Thousands cheaper than the 35k power grid connection quote, and no power bills..
