48V LiFePO₄ Battery + EG4 6000XP · IP67 All-Weather
This system pairs one EG4 314Ah All-Weather battery — 16kWh nominal, 12.86kWh of recommended usable capacity — with one transformer-free EG4 6000XP inverter, delivering 6,000W of continuous split-phase output and up to 8,000W of dual-MPPT solar input. The battery carries an IP67 rating, EG4's next-generation wallmount design, and is compatible with the existing 280Ah form factor for easy retrofits into current systems.
Two components, pre-matched and sold together.
Qty 1
16kWh nominal LiFePO₄ storage, IP67-rated, with active cell balancing and up to 200A continuous discharge.
Qty 1
6,000W continuous output in a transformer-free design, with dual MPPT solar input up to 8,000W.

EG4's newest wallmount platform, with 12.86kWh of recommended usable capacity and drop-in compatibility with existing 280Ah form-factor systems.
A higher weatherproofing standard than most wallmount batteries in this class, built for direct outdoor installation.
Rated for 10,000 cycles at 0.5C and 80% depth of discharge to 70% end-of-life capacity — well beyond typical residential battery ratings.
Up to 10.2kW of continuous discharge power, with a 250A battery breaker and 1,700A short-circuit rating for real-world fault protection.
The paired inverter uses a lighter, more efficient transformer-free design, delivering 6,000W continuous with 8,000W of dual-MPPT solar input.
An integrated battery management system with active balancing, plus protection against over/under-voltage, over-current, and temperature extremes.
A high parallel ceiling for a wallmount battery, giving serious room to scale capacity well beyond a single unit.
The inverter switches to battery power in under 15 milliseconds, keeping sensitive electronics running through a grid drop.
The 314Ah All-Weather is EG4's newest wallmount platform, built as a capacity and durability step up from their 280Ah line while keeping the same physical form factor — meaning it slots into existing 280Ah-based installs without a redesign. At 16kWh nominal (12.86kWh recommended usable at 80%) with a 10,000-cycle life rating, it's built for long-term daily use rather than occasional backup duty.
Paired with the transformer-free EG4 6000XP, the system delivers 6,000W of continuous output, up to 8,000W of dual-MPPT solar input, and a sub-15ms transfer to battery power if the grid drops. The battery's IP67 rating covers direct outdoor installation, while the inverter itself remains IP20 and needs an indoor or fully enclosed location — plan for the battery to go outside if needed, and the inverter to stay covered.

One EG4 314Ah All-Weather battery and one EG4 6000XP hybrid inverter, sold as a pre-matched pair — 16kWh nominal capacity (12.86kWh recommended usable) and 6,000W of continuous output.
Yes — EG4 built the 314Ah battery in the same form factor as their 280Ah line specifically so it can slot into existing systems and installations without a redesign.
The battery can — it's IP67-rated for direct outdoor installation. The EG4 6000XP inverter is IP20 and still needs a covered, indoor-equivalent location such as a garage, utility room, or power shed.
This battery is rated for 10,000 cycles at 0.5C and 80% depth of discharge (to 70% end-of-life capacity) — higher than the 8,000+ cycle rating common on other wallmount LiFePO₄ batteries in this class.
It depends on your total connected load. At 6,000W continuous (12,000W surge) it covers most efficient homes and cabins comfortably, but a full load calculation is worth doing before sizing your system — especially with well pumps, electric heat, or several large appliances running together.
The battery is backed by a 10-year (or 10,000-cycle) manufacturer's warranty. The inverter's warranty is stated as 5 years on this product's own page.
Given the voltages and currents involved, installation should be handled by a qualified, licensed electrician or solar installer familiar with your local code requirements.
