I have several batteries from Bluetti and this one by far is my favorite. It handles everything I throw at it. It's a power house!
We purchased the EP500pro for backup power for are business it powers 4 computers our internet and phones I would recommend this.
i purchased a unit back in sept 2021. the unit was easy to set up and worked like a charm. in december 2022 the display screen malfunctioned. unfortunately i could not scroll to the page to select AC power out of the unit. the solar panels were feeding the unit, i just couldn't access the power, leaving me powerless in pismo :( i reached out to bluetti (winnie, super helpful!) and we started the procedure to replace the unit. pismo beach is on the central coast of ca. due to delays mostly on my end dodging various & numerous rain storms, i finally received the replacement unit yesterday. i know 3 months later, but hey we had delays with shipping, my being available to ship the original unit back and so on. not bluetti fault. now experiencing much happiness - powerful in pismo :) yay.
I ordered this item during a nationwide snow storm. Needless to say things seemed to start out on the wrong foot. There was a lack of communication about the shipping and the delivery schedule on the part of Bluetti. I had no tracking information so I did not even know if my EP500 Pro had been sent or not. I must assume that the nationwide snow storm was a major factor. Anyway, the delivery was made 5 days after I placed the order and the following day Bluetti apologized in an email for not having been able to communicate in a timely fashion. The product is quite nice. I have to admit I like the design. It is easy to use and I can use a regular wall outlet to charge it from. I tested it up to about 2000 watts and it worked alright. There is a lot of lightning in our area and power fluctuations are a potentially big problem. So I make sure that I pre-charge the unit before the storm comes and I disconnect the unit from the wall outlet during the storm. I also make sure that nothing is connected to it through which there is a connection to the grid during a storm. I mainly use it for providing power for my securities during power outages after a storm. I have 2 backup generators but I cannot run those overnight in this subdivision because they are too loud. Bluetti EP500 Pro will help us to make it through the nite. In time I would like to buy a second unit.
