How to choose a 2,400W EcoFlow station

• Battery behind the output. 2,400W drains a 2,000Wh battery in under an hour at full load. The DELTA Max holds 2,016Wh and the DELTA 2 Max 2,048Wh. The 2 x 200W rigid kit is listed at 3,600Wh, the one configuration with meaningfully more runtime.
• Solar input ceiling. The DELTA Max tops out at 800W of solar; the DELTA 2 Max accepts 1,000W. If you plan to live off the station for days, the higher ceiling refills faster.
• Which panel bundle. The DELTA 2 Max + 220W portable panel kit is the lightest to carry. The DELTA Max comes with 200W portable, 200 to 800W rigid, 2 x 200W rigid, or 800W rigid arrays.
• Battery chemistry. The DELTA 2 Max uses an LFP pack rated for 3,000 full cycles before it drops to 80% capacity, which EcoFlow describes as roughly ten years of daily use.
• Bare station or kit. If you already own panels within the input limit, the bare DELTA 2 Max at $949 is the cheapest route to 2,400W.

Setup and usage tips

• Check start-up surge, not just running watts. A fridge compressor or a well pump can spike far above its label. Use the Solar Kit Calculator with your appliance list and ZIP code to confirm 2,400W is enough and to size the panels.
• Run heavy loads in turns. A 1,500W space heater and a 1,200W microwave together exceed 2,400W; stagger them and the station will not trip.
• Match panels to the input port. Rigid 12V panels in the DELTA Max kits are already paired to the 800W limit; do not add a second array on top.
• Charge from the wall before an outage or a trip. Solar is for topping up during the day, not for rescuing an empty battery.
• In an RV, keep the station near the panels' cable reach and out of direct sun. Heat cuts charging speed.

DELTA Max or DELTA 2 Max? Same output, similar capacity. The DELTA 2 Max has the newer LFP cells with 3,000 cycles and takes 1,000W of solar. The DELTA Max is the one bundled with the larger rigid panel arrays.

Can I add a battery later? The 2 x 200W rigid kit already ships at 3,600Wh. For the bare stations, check the product page for the compatible extra battery before buying panels, so the solar array is sized for the full capacity.
