Anker Solar Power Products: Stations, Panels and Expansion Batteries

Anker's solar and backup range is built around three kinds of product, and knowing which one you are shopping for saves a lot of scrolling. An Anker solar setup starts with a power station (the battery and inverter in one box), adds a solar panel to recharge it, and grows with an expansion battery when one night of storage is not enough. Bundles combine two or three of those so the parts are already matched.

This brand collection lists 92 Anker products. The cheapest entry is the PS400 portable panel at $700; the SOLIX F3000 station starts at $1,500; the F3800 series runs from $2,600 with a panel to $4,999 with a second battery and rigid roof panels. Free shipping applies to the mainland US on all of them.

Two Anker SOLIX F3000 power stations with double voltage hub, 7,200W and 6,144Wh

How to choose an Anker product type

  • Power station first. Decide on output before anything else. The Anker SOLIX F3000 gives 3,600W with 7,200W surge and 3,072Wh at $1,500. The F3800 gives 6,000W with 120V/240V split-phase for a well pump or dryer. Both accept 2,400W of solar.
  • Panel second. The Anker SOLIX 400W 48V PS400 Portable Solar Panel folds for travel and is the standard match for any SOLIX station. For a fixed install choose a complete kit with 12V rigid panels, such as the F3800 7,680Wh + 12V Rigid Solar Panels at $4,999.
  • Expansion battery when needed. The F3800 + PS400 stores 3,840Wh; adding a BP3800 at $1,800 takes it to 7,680Wh. The F3000 uses the BP3000; the F3000 + BP3000 Expansion Battery bundle reaches 6,144Wh for $2,500.
  • Bundle or parts. If you already own a station, buy the panel or battery alone. If you are starting fresh, an Anker solar generator bundle avoids compatibility guesswork and is how most first-time buyers order.

Sizing tips

  • Run the Solar Kit Calculator with your appliances and ZIP code. It gives three numbers, battery Wh, inverter W and panel W, which map onto the three product types above.
  • Size the inverter for the single largest start-up load, not the sum of everything. Most homes land at 3,600W unless a 240V appliance is involved.
  • Size the battery for a full night plus a cloudy morning. 3,072Wh is one night for a fridge and lights; 6,144Wh or 7,680Wh is two.
  • Size the panels to refill what you used. One PS400 on a clear day covers light use; a rigid array covers a full station.
  • Check the 48V requirement. The PS400 is a 48V panel and belongs on SOLIX stations only, not on a 12V trailer battery.

Frequently asked questions

What does an Anker power station run during an outage? Refrigerators, CPAP machines, laptops, lighting and pumps on the F3000; add dryers, well pumps and 240V circuits on the F3800. Stack expansion batteries for longer than one night.

Does an Anker generator need fuel or venting? No. These are battery units with no engine, so they run indoors and recharge from the wall, a vehicle or solar panels.

Which is better for an RV, F3000 or F3800? The F3000 unless your rig has a 240V appliance. It is cheaper and takes the same PS400 panel; the F3800 makes sense when the same unit also backs up the house.

Orders ship free to the mainland US from Anker partner warehouses in a few business days, with 30-day returns. Call us if you want help deciding whether you need a station, a panel, a battery or all three.
